INTRO TO SCREEN PRINTING
This 1 on 1 screen printing class focuses on preparing and printing silkscreens with your design using a photo emulsion process. Students get hands on practice coating, burning, and printing screens. We will cover how to prep files or artwork into separate color layers and registering them in print.

SCREEN PRINTING MONTHLY INTENSIVE
This is a month long in depth screen printing course to take your multi-color edition from conception to completion.
Week 1:
Discuss file choices and prep for silkscreening and color separating
Week 2:
Coating and burning screen- burn all the screens for your design
Week 3:
Color mixing and printing 1st and 2nd color
Week 4:
Advanced printing techniques and color registration, printing additional colors
Includes: up to an edition of 20 prints, and 2 t-shirts, students may bring additional materials
$400 / 4, 2 hour sessions, beginning on the 1st saturday of the month.
SCREEN PRINTING for 2
Learn to screen print with a friend or family member! Each student may create one screen each or collaborate on a two color design together! Students will learn about preparing files for printing and preparing screens.
All materials are included but you're welcome to bring t shirts, paper, fabric, canvas, wood etc to print onto and experiment with.
$400 for 2 people / 4 Hours

FACILITIES/ EQUIPMENT
All workshops include the use of the following materials and supplies:
-Silkscreens
-Film output (max size 13x19”, please get in touch to discuss working at a larger size)
-4 color t shirt press
-vacuum table
-2 drying racks (one holds 50 prints, one holds 20)
-ink (if you need very specific colors, please bring it with you. Ink is available but we cannot guarantee every color is in stock)
-exposure unit (24x36”)
-washout booth
-16x16” flash dryer and heat guns
-paper
-squeegees
-tape
-moral support
T shirts are not included but we usually have a few around the studio you can experiment with. Please feel free to bring additional items to print on- t shirts, paper stocks, canvas, wood, etc, anything is fine as long as it’s FLAT.
Workshops will be part indoor part outdoor. The studio can accommodate up to 4 students at a time. Please get in touch about larger groups, we can accommodate you by hosting at another print studio or other offsite location.
